LAHORE (Pak News) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mian Akhlaq Ahmed Guddu has died after Suffering the corona virus.

  He had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital for a few days where he died yesterday. Former Khatib of Masjid Data Darbar, Allama Maqsood Ahmad Qadri offered his funeral prayers at Mint Stop Darogewala in which a large number of political and social personalities participated.

Leader PTI Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Chairman PIAF Noman Kabir, Tariq Sana Bajwa, Maulana Asim Makhdoom, Allama Asghar Arif Chishti, Maulana Zia-ud-Din, Allama Abdul Mustafa Chishti, Pir Hafeez Azhar, Shoaib-ur-Rehman Qasmi, Mian Khurram and Mian Haroon attended the funeral prayers. Mian Anis, Malik Ghulam Yousuf, Malik Riaz, Malik Amir, Mian Meraj, Tanveer Akram Jutt, Mian Waheed Afzal, Mian Tahir Mumtaz, Chaudhry Javed, Pervez Cheema, Mehr Arif Mehmood Bhatti, Mian Tariq, Haji Imdad Hussain, Haji Amir Khan and Others including Mian Waheed Afzal also participated in  funeral prayers.

The funeral rites of the deceased will be performed today after Asr prayers at his residence Mint Stop Darogewala. Mian Akhlaq Ahmed Guddu was a prominent political and social figure of Shalimar Town. He contested the Provincial Assembly seat on a PPP ticket in 2002 and the National Assembly seat in 2008 as an independent.
