Tosha Khana Reference: Arrest warrant of Asif Ali Zardari issued, Start proceedings to declare Nawaz Sharif is a most wanted criminal
ISLAMABAD (Pak News) The Accountability Court (AC) has started the process of arresting former President Asif Ali Zardari and declaring Nawaz Sharif a notorious accused for non-appearance of the accused in the Tosha Khana reference. It may be recalled that Nawaz Sharif's son in London has already been declared a notorious accused.
According to the details, the accountability court heard the case against Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Yousuf Raza Gilani. The NAB submitted a report to the court on sending Nawaz Sharif to Britain.The NAB said that Nawaz Sharif was present in the UK and sent warrants through the Foreign Despite court orders, Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were absent. NAB requested for issuance of arrest warrant for Asif Zardari's non-appearance. Asif Zardari's lawyer presented his medical report of Zia-ud-Din Hospital in the court.
Expressing dissatisfaction over Asif Zardari's medical report, the court said that the report was not satisfactory enough to grant him immunity, it was a criminal case and Asif Zardari would have to face it.Asif Zardari's lawyer Farooq H Naik said that the court has also granted immunity to Gilani.
The judge of accountability court said that he has given till the appearance of others. Farooq H Naik said that these are the days of corona and Asif Zardari is older.The judge of accountability court said that Asif Zardari is not a coronator? I am also present in the court.
Lawyer Farooq H Naik said that people will come together with the arrival of Asif Zardari.Judge Asghar Ali said that they are issuing advertisements on the continuous non-appearance of Nawaz Sharif and also issue warrants for Asif Zardari.Farooq H Naik said that he was appearing before the court on behalf of Asif Zardari. Judge Asghar Ali said that he would give a long date and then Asif Zardari should appear before the court.
The accountability court issued Nawaz Sharif's advertisement. The court said that no action could be taken against Nawaz Sharif's non-bailable warrants.Judge Muhammad Asghar said that Nawaz Sharif was not knowingly becoming a part of the court proceedings. The court rejected Asif Zardari's plea for exemption from attendance and issued a warrant for his arrest.The court said that if Asif Zardari does not appear at the next hearing, non-bailable warrants will be issued. The court also ordered Asif Zardari to appear at the next hearing and summoned Nawaz Sharif again through advertisement. The court adjourned the hearing till August 17.
