"India is doing this after embarrassment in Ladakh" Shah Mehmood Qureshi mirrors Modi government

Islamabad (Pak News) Talking about the expulsion of Pakistani diplomats by India, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that India was doing this to avoid embarrassment in Ladakh.

According to Dawn News, the Foreign Minister said that he was concerned about the tension in the Ladakh region following the clash on June 15 and that Pakistan might be dragged into the matter.

"Things are very delicate and the situation is very bad," Shah Mehmood said in an interview at the Foreign Ministry.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that there are historical disputes over the demarcation of the high border in the Himalayan region of the three neighboring countries armed with nuclear weapons.

He added that for years the India-Pakistan front had been considered one of the most dangerous conflicts, but the violence between Indian and Chinese forces had also sounded alarm bells about them.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi condemned India's announcement to expel half the staff of the Pakistani embassy in New Delhi on charges of espionage, saying India wanted to divert attention from the country.
