ISLAMABAD (Pak News) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected a petition seeking removal of Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan.The court remarked that if the statement of the Federal Minister was detrimental to the country, it was up to the Prime Minister to take action.

Earlier, a petition seeking removal of Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan was heard.Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Atharmanullah conducted the hearing.Counsel for the petitioner argued that Ghulam Sarwar made irresponsible statements regarding 262 pilots.PIA flights banned in Europe for 6 months.The minister should have acted secretly if someone's degree was fake.The counsel for the petitioner said that the irresponsible statement of Ghulam Sarwar made the laugh all ovre the world.

The court remarked that the statement of the Federal Minister was detrimental to the country and it was up to the Prime Minister to take action.The court avoids interfering in the constitutional procedure of accountability of the federal minister.The decision said that according to the petitioner, the statement of the minister damaged the reputation of the country and the PIA.The court has no reason to believe that the Prime Minister and the Cabinet did not appreciate the delicacy of the matter.The court does not want to interfere in the matter by resorting to Article 199.
